DATUM launches to Accelerate Digital Transformation for Manufacturing SMEs
The DATUM team were excited to launch this cross-border programme for SMEs, led by AMIC and IMR, supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

DATUM supports manufacturing SMEs from readiness to real implementation: Assess. Plan. Transform, offering practical delivery through structured support backed by expert delivery. Led by the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) with the Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR) centre, datum offers:
- Clear pathway from assessment to implementation
- Internationally recognised methodology (SIRI)
- Expert partners who walk alongside businesses
- Cross-border collaboration with shared oversight
- Funded access that reduces financial risk for SMEs
- One contract, one NDA, one coordinated experience
The launch event welcomed a number of senior government and industry representatives including Mark Lee, Acting Deputy Secretary for Economic Policy and Gina McIntyre, Chief Executive of the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
